Profile – This colossal temperature-controlled building created the warehouse space and trucking docks Pepsi Co. needed to strategically expand.
The two-unit expansion utilizes powerful Pre-engineered metal buildings for a unique and innovative approach in construction.
Using insulated metal panels to maintain consistent cold storage temperatures, the warehouse section of the facility was designed to perfectly fit a racking system for optimal distribution efficiency.
In addition, a loading dock extension adding 10 additional dock doors allows them to distribute more product at a faster rate.
Working in tandem with the PEMB to create a weathertight, durable building envelope, a standing seam roof system was chosen with purlin glide insulation.

Additional Information – A combination of clear span and modular metal building frames were used on this project. The systems were set up to leapfrog one another. This ideal approach achieved the 50×50 grid needed to accommodate a specific racking system.
